Metal Free Crowns
Most people will experience damage to the surface (enamel) of their teeth at some point. Teeth become cracked, chipped or discolored due to a large range of causes, from severe trauma to the natural effects of day to day wear.
When decay or damage to the surface of a tooth becomes significant, the tooth can be reduced and a custom-made tooth bonded to its surface.
This artificial tooth is called a “crown.” Crowns are also often used to anchor bridges — structures that replace missing teeth.
When damage to the tooth extends to the foundation (root) of the tooth, a bridge or dental implant may be a better solution. We will discuss your options for restorations with you after an initial examination.

Metal-Free Crowns with Superior Materials
We are proud to use the latest in advanced materials for crowns, inlays & onlays and veneers. The ceramic material we use in restorations is 4 to 10 times stronger than traditional porcelain. We use two different materials depending on the location of your restoration, e.Max & BruxZir®.
Because BruxZir is designed and milled from a single piece of zirconia using Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) there is no room for lab error. BruxZir® Solid Zirconia crowns are 10 times as strong as traditional crowns and are the optimum choice for restorations in the back of the mouth. The e.Max material is not as strong as BruxZir, but can be matched to the exact color of your teeth and is still over 4 times as strong as traditional material.
